Congrats on all the progress!

I see you'll be having a space issue soon too. ;)

Wishing you continued success!

I shouldn't have space issues as I can upgrade my grow lights to accommodate more shelves.  I will have a watering issue in April waiting for plant out though lol

Might be some space trouble as I am starting some non peppers from seed (other than the usual tomatoes) and that could stir things up a bit.  But the living room will just have to deal with it lol
My next planting should take care of the Peach TS through Manzano which I think is 14 varieties.  I could average 5 per variety and still not fill the tray :)  So there still is some hope for some others to make the list.

And I see I have omitted Chocolate TS from my list :(

Finally got around to trying some of the hot sauce that was sent to me.  I cracked open the Hot Papaya and it sure is good.  Nice smoky flavor and the burn was just on the top of the tongue.  Not really super hot, but a beautiful flavor on this sauce.

My MoA are looking nice too.  About to move them back to the grow room.

And the Manzano is growing well too.

The grow room is being kept right around 70 degrees and it is right around 80 under the lights.  Tomorrow the grow table will come in and with it closed up, I can germinate seeds at 85 degrees.  Can't wait until next weekend, got my first tray of pellets soaking and will be mapping out the cells tonight and planting in the morning.

Let the Hooking Commence!!! (insert ancient Greek?? bugling sounds here)

Peppers are ready to rock.  Hoping for better germ rates than last year.  The chaos has officially started.

I haven't tried the Hot Papaya Greg sent me yet, but I can say this everything else I've tried is great!

MoA's and Manzano look happy, I have one Manzano going...no true leaves yet. Dang they grow slow!

Hi Jeff,

Those MoA-s are beautiful! Are yoiu removing the lower leaves?
Wow, 16 days. I was not that patient this year :P

Balázs

I wasn't removing the lower leaves, they dropped off when I didn't have the temps up enough.

Never had squirrel but it looks tasty.

Chenzo you don't say. The more I hang out here, the more interesting varieties I need to try. Sadly, the garden is full this year (and the overflow garden).

Squirrels are quite tasty and they are a low fat food as well.

I used to grow the super chili variety all the time and it packed a good punch (to me back then anyhow) and a couple years ago I tried the Chenzo.  I like it in the fact that it hits the back of the throat.  Not a blazing hot throat burn, but a nice tickle.  They are black and ripen red.

I wasn't planning on growing any this season as I still have powder, but it is getting used up fast.  So I tried to convince myself that I needed t grow it again this year, but I keep telling myself I can use other powder.  Now I am telling myself to go ahead and grow one so I can  OW and see what it does for me.  So if I happen to have some seed around here for it (its a hybrid) I think I will stick one in.  After all, my next (and final) round of pepper planting won't fill a 72 cell tray, and I can't have that!!!
Went in and replanted my Jaques as neither cell popped up.  I also had one cell of the Barts that wasn't up, so I went to plant a couple more seeds and I have a hook coming.

Same thing with the Yellow not Butch T.  Only had 3 up and had 4 cells planted.  Went to investigate and sure enough I have another one of them coming up and another 7 Pd PSB trying to hook.

Amazes me the different lengths of time it takes to germ in the same conditions.  The only thing I can think is some were deeper than others and that kept them cooler.
