Got the Germination table off.  The one tray that still needs some cells to pop I just stuck up under a light and the grow room stays warm enough.  After 14 days, I don't have much hope of them popping.

Less than three weeks from the next round of peppers and starting some onion seed.

Jeff,

Don't give up on that tray. I'd be willing to bet you'll see more hooks.

I did the same after 3 weeks, stuck the tray on another room and all of a sudden they were going nuts.

That is what I am hoping for.  I can still plant em with my milds and sweets later on if they don't come.  Temp is going to be holding right.

Good luck with them. two weeks isn't too long, but it isn't short either.

When is your next round going in the dirt? Mine is 2/1 for the rest of the annuums.

I am going to try to hold off on the milds/sweets/missing hots until Valentines day.  March 1st for the tomatoes/onions/kohlrabi/cabbage/chard/lettuce

Right now the wind is blowing so hard it is a true whiteout without it snowing.  My spotlight doesn't make it to the road.  My county is shutdown again.  Glad I made a run to the store today.  Walleye tomorrow and then possible some pizza pies Tuesday.  I gots the pepperoni!!!

With the bad weather I won't be going anywhere today, so I thought I would post an update on peppers.

The really bad curly Q peach bhut has shed its helmet and has straightened out a bit.  If it survives I wouldn't be surprised if it has the best pods.

Here is my peach X that I had transplant trouble with.  I don't think it is coming out of the problem.  But there is another Skywalker Peach X

My first Manzano I planted

And here are the other two I planted.  The one had a really bad damaged coty from a helmet removal, but it is coming out of it fine.

I do have 4 Bonda Ma Jaques up, but I don't believe I will transplant all four as it might damage the strong ones roots to separate.

My habs are taking shape.

My brown moruga and Neyde X are doing well.

Jigsaw is up and running.

As well as my second round of MoA

With temps hitting -15 tonight with 20-30 mph winds, it looks like a night of surfing the web for garden videos (I must be old).

Some more pics.  First up are my HBJ plants.  I included a closeup of the one with the helmet head that damaged the coty.  It seems to be coming out of it just fine.

My TS Y are doing well.

And I had another pepper come up.  I thought it was the Chocolate DT, but it might be the Chocolate Fatalii.  I would have to check my note to be certain.  It is the most anemic looking hook I have ever seen.  I thought those were the roots and it was some how growing upside down.  Be miraculous if it makes it.  Either way, I still have one of it potted up already.

HJeff... Did those wonky babies come up fairly late? Like after 14 weeks in the dirt? I've had a couple come up really weak like that too. Some straightened up after a couple days, I culled some of the others. No space for weaklings here.

Very nice Jeff!

The older and the younger babies are looking stellar!

We'll call that one pale rider, I've had a few look pale come up when I chunked the flat on the table in the north room. One day under lights and they perked up nicely. I do have one plant, a Jay's red ghost scorp that's a funny brownish color, just a hangin' for a week with no change. It needs to go, but I've been curious...

The chocolate came up right about 17 days after planting.  The extra Lantern I have no idea.  But it hasn't been that long.

I like Pale Rider.  It has been under the lights this entire time.  Temps do get into the 70s  at night, but 80s the rest of the time.

Nice looking plants.  Those gals are going to be crowding you out of house and home by the time plant-out rolls around.

That is what I am afraid of.  Once they outgrow the 18 pot tray is when the issue is going to happen.  Pulling each plant out to water one by one is not going to be fun.

FOYs - awesome, Jeff!

The grow looks great, lots of great transplants and seedlings
coming along.

Man cave is looking like a great space - now for some HPS lights and containers!

Lol I meant to write 14 days not weeks. Point still stands though. I think it is indeed a light issue.

Grow is looking good HJeff. Keep it up! Survive the snow!

Thanks.  HPS is that water thing right?

I'm trying to survive the snow.  Had to shovel a little bit to get out, but I was able to get out for a bit today.

Since I am going to be growing these, I am going to give some a go and see how they are.  Tried a piece of one and its like a green citrus flavor.

Looking for ground cherries too. Not sure of a variety, if it really matters.  Definitely want a row of them in the garden for some jam.  Looks like the garden may have to get enlarged lol.

Chicken Parmigiana looks good Jeff!

Dang that's some snow there!

Is this an every year thing? I remember '78 in NY, snowed so much they had it piled like that in the center of the road too.
Was kinda fun, I had a 65 Caddy ($50 car) driving down the road, kept turning into the piles...guess you had to be there

Never phased that hunk of iron, do that today and pieces would fly off..
