Jeff thanks for the sauce comments...more to come your way after the season.
Thank you for such a wonderful taste sensation. Going to try to replicate, to a degree, the black thorn. Don't have the same peppers, but I just need to get close. Had a Mexican guy at work use some and told me I made him one happy Mexican and he wanted the rest of the bottle lol. It has a Worcestershire sort of taste to it and a solid throat burn that makes this sauce a must have in the fridge!!! I see it as an awesome rib glaze.
Cool colors in the garden, early blooming Irises are always pleasing to look at.
I have some other colors I just haven't got around to taking a pic of. Working 6 days a week is really hurting my time here. Just get the garden in, still have to mulch it, and next up is cutting firewood. Once I get home from work and done outside I am spent. Hopefully I retire in 2 years!!!
The hanging basket apparatus sure puts the standard Shepard's hook to shame...lol
That appears to be a great spot for the hangers, seems like some partial overhead shade from a tree ?
Yes there are a few trees giving it some shade, Catalpa, Sunburst Locust, and a small maple. Old rims off a wooden wagon wheel cut and tacked together. Pretty simple to do if you have access to a welder.
Wow a pod on its way to ripening....love those Manzano's.
If you need the rain it will be in your area tomorrow. We need it badly, I'm 3/4's done with the pepper planting . The remaining plants are in 2 gal containers and need to be watered at least twice a day. I hope to complete the task by the weekend...then hopefully I can work on the flower beds.
I was hoping to get rained on while fishing today, but that didn't happen....perhaps tonight. So far the last two storms have been all blow and no show.
