Jeff,

I still have my 35 year old Dual turntable. I went through about half of the vinyl using a Creative labs sound card that has an input for it and converted them to digital. The software has editing capabilities for noise too. Most of my vinyl was clean but I have a few that my Mom's husband gave me from the 70's and it really helped with those.

Have a great week, or what's left of it!

Got some other pics to put up along with a couple pod pics.

I think I am done planting other than in some pots.

Tried Greg's (Pic1) Black thorn sauce today.  Has a Worcestershire taste to it.  More heat than the Bonnet sauce, all in the throat.  Really pleasant sauce.  A new woman at work gave it a shot and said it wasn't hot at all.  She also said she can eat any pepper.  I told her about the reapers and brown moruga I am growing and she wants to try them.  I told her I would bring her some to eat if I can video her doing it and she agreed.  Hurry up peppers....pod up.

Awesome sauces all the way around Greg!!!! Many thanks!!!

Nice, I liked the 80-90ish records pic a few times for ya. Good collection. Many good records missing but I bet they are hard to come by these days. Are they collectors items yet or do you just have to search through thousands of old records for the good ones?

Here is one for ya.

Makes me think of Nightmare on Elm Street 3 Dream Warriors...after the credits Freddie had a nightmare about these guys.

Jeff thanks for the sauce comments...more to come your way after the season.

Cool colors in the garden, early blooming Irises are always pleasing to look at.

The hanging basket apparatus sure puts the standard Shepard's hook to shame...lol
That appears to be a great spot for the hangers, seems like some partial overhead shade from a tree ?

Wow a pod on its way to ripening....love those Manzano's.

If you need the rain it will be in your area tomorrow. We need it badly, I'm 3/4's done with the pepper planting . The remaining plants are in 2 gal containers and need to be watered at least twice a day. I hope to complete the task by the weekend...then hopefully I can work on the flower beds.

Thank you for such a wonderful taste sensation.  Going to try to replicate, to a degree, the black thorn.  Don't have the same peppers, but I just need to get close.  Had a Mexican guy at work use some and told me I made him one happy Mexican and he wanted the rest of the bottle lol.  It has a Worcestershire sort of taste to it and a solid throat burn that makes this sauce a must have in the fridge!!!  I see it as an awesome rib glaze.

I have some other colors I just haven't got around to taking a pic of.  Working 6 days a week is really hurting my time here.  Just get the garden in, still have to mulch it, and next up is cutting firewood.  Once I get home from work and done outside I am spent.  Hopefully I retire in 2 years!!!

Yes there are a few trees giving it some shade, Catalpa, Sunburst Locust, and a small maple.  Old rims off a wooden wagon wheel cut and tacked together.  Pretty simple to do if you have access to a welder.

I was hoping to get rained on while fishing today, but that didn't happen....perhaps tonight.  So far the last two storms have been all blow and no show.

Speaking of fishing...I did get my biggest inland lake perch.

Wooooohooooooo! :woohoo: Manzono color!
How long do you think it hung before it started to color. I've got one I'm twiddling my thumbs over.

Nice catch!

I would have to check when I first posted I had poddage.  It did start to turn right after I potted it up into it's summer home.

A second review of the tepin x lemondrop.

Didn't take a pic, but dinner was steamed kale with a little bit of ranch dressing, some polish sausage and a tepin/lemondrop crossed pepper diced into the mix.
Currently my favorite way to eat kale.

The pepper seemed to have more of a bite to it this time, but there was no lasting affect at all.  Just the nip and it was gone.  Good tasting though.  I can see munching on these in the garden, or perhaps throwing one in your mouth to munch with a cherry tomato.  Early on in this season and it has two ripe ones, two that are close and more coming on.  I think it is going to be a plant that kicks out the pods.

Next time I make the dish I will have to get a pic of it.  These will definitely find their way into a salad or two this year!!!

Some pictures.  It amazes me what they can do in two weeks in the dirt.

HBJ.  I picked off all pods when I planted these out so they could gain some strength.  This one just keeps cranking out pods.
