I'm really glad to see this!

Dirt day is the sh!t!

They will load you up really soon ;)

And the strawberries, LB brings in a few everyday. You will certainly enjoy them fresh picked! When it cools we're moving them from the 2 40" pots to 2 of the 4x8' raised beds. Watch for squirrels and such, they're hitting ours. Gonna have to make a cover for next year.

Have a fantastic weekend! AND enjoy the plant out, so rewarding!

All peppers that are going in the ground, are in the ground.  Some extra plants didn't make the cut, but I might throw them into containers and see what happens.

Back garden, just needs tomatoes and zukes planted.

Tomatoes are after work tomorrow and then I can relax and just worry about getting some flowers planted and catching up on some glogs.

Now it's time to do salsa research :) and get ready for walleye tacos.

You can lay those long tomatoes in slanted, shallow trenches with just the 3-5 leafs showing and they will turn that top straight up in less than a day or two.

You can't keep a tomato from growing this time of year. You can break off suckers and stick them in a little wet coco or moss and you'll have a root ball in less than a week.

It is relax day today.  Thought about fishing, but decided to sleep in and do some shopping.  Fishing tomorrow.

Picked up a weed whacker to keep the bed areas clean looking.  Also got some soaker hoses for the beds.  Going to give them a shot today on one of the raised beds.  Don't have the short connecting hoses to go bed to bed yet.

Hoping to get a trench dug out and filled with some nice soil for the marigolds.

Still need to come up with a plan on the manzanos

Once evening comes I have three peppers that I have to get in the dirt.  A HBJ I missed, a BMJ I missed, and a nice looking Fatalii Yellow that was an extra that just has to get in the dirt.

Next project will be getting the hoops on the raised beds and tracking down the netting for the strawberry bed.  Wonder if those sun screen nets would help a lot with sun burn when hardening off?

And yes, I MUST get some hot sauce recipes tracked down....I have rhubarb that is ripe and was thinking of blackberries in July.  They might be a bit strong though.

I just love going into the basement freezer.  Just the aroma of hot peppers wafting up out of it is pleasant.

Got enough peppers to make a sauce with peach hab, TS Yellow, datil, Burgundy, and red fatalii.  I think I have a rhubarb - burgundy sauce figured out.  Also a plum - burgundy.

With the amount of peppers I have going on right now, if they make a good supply of pods, I will need to find a use other than smoking and drying as that takes more time and effort.

It's the Year of the Sauce!!!

I am worried about too much sun burn.  Once they shake that off, I can take some pics of the pepper plant out.  Right now, they look rode hard and put up wet.

Yeah those first couple of weeks uglifies them some. But they will come back stronger.

I haven't even put a dent in all the sauces I made last year, you'll be surprised at how much you can make. I also made some Reaper puree, some dangerous stuff there!

Got out fishing today, but it would seem the storms last night shut things down on me.  Only caught two.  I did get some of the hobby shop cleaned....bring on the pods!!!

While I was cleaning I had some dinner going on the charcoal grill for the first time this season.

Looking for the original cover GNR Appetite, The aussie versions of Highway to Hell and Deeds.  Plus TnT.  Looking to get Loudness Thunder in the East, JP SCreaming, Ozzy Bark, and I do have TS LoveHunter coming if they don't screw me over.

Nice, I liked the 80-90ish records pic a few times for ya. Good collection. Many good records missing but I bet they are hard to come by these days. Are they collectors items yet or do you just have to search through thousands of old records for the good ones?

Here is one for ya.

Dokken is actually on my list.  Beast from the east album cover looks really nice.

They are collectible.  I mainly look for groups I like, really like, have special meaning, or has an awesome cover.  US banned covers are one of my favorites to try to get for the wall.  Just started it for that section of that wall is music themed, so I didn't care about album condition, but I am looking forward to building my entertainment stand and getting a phono and giving these things a spin.
