Hospital time

Just Thought I would let people to know what has happened to me when you don't see any post from me for awhile.
I had hopes of putting this off till February, but it has been moved up to the first half of January, so it looks like i will have a small grow from my overwintered plants as I just won't have time to start much this season as I will be in bed a lot recovering and resting a lot.
I just want to say thank you all and that I hope you have a Great Christmas and a Great New Year.

Make sure you jazz-ercise in bed :D Nothing like bed sores after surviving a run-in with the sawbones.

Have a Merry Christmas :)

After spending the better part of this last year in a Hospital.

I suggest you bring a few packs of pepper powders to help out with making the food taste like something that actually has a taste.

After the first stay,I ground up some pepper blends and took them with me.

My emergency hospital bug out food kit.

Hospital food is probably better for you (low salt, fat or whatever) but it is tasteless.

Plus,it's fun to watch the the nurses and food servers when they sample my super hot blends.
Especially the person who askes what the stuff is I'm sprinkling on my food.
They say they like hot peppers but never heard of 7Pots.
I warn them about heat but they say they never had anything that was too hot for them.
They pour way too much in the palm of their hand and lick it up.
Then they loose it...  LOL
A couple Nurses got excited when they saw my nose running like a faucet and asked for a snot rag...that mini box of mini tissues doesn't last long.

Hope all goes well for you.

I hope you have a speedy recovery, hospitals are never the best place to stay.

About your next season, I'm quite sure some fellow chili heads are in your area that are willing to donate some seedlings in late spring. Don't worry to much about that.

Thanks everyone, yeah the hospital food will definitely need a few touch ups to give it some flavor, but that will have to wait till I can eat something that wouldn't cause me to get sick to my stomach as most of my food will be in a liquid state for awhile and I will need to watch what I eat during my Chemo treatments. At least this time I won't get cut up like so much meatloaf and my stay will be shorter or so they say.
At least I will have Christmas and the New year at Home, So I hope everyone here at THP has a good Holiday Season.

Thanks all, I hope everyone had a good holiday even if they didn't celebrate Christmas, I know for many its a time of reflexion and renewing one's view on life and the life of others.
There is so much going on now days, My grand daughters are growing up and leaving the comfort of the nest, I can only hope that when the time comes, their wings will hold them up and take them to places that I will never see.
I can't imagine what this world will be like in another 10 years, with all the wars that never seem to end, all the homeless and hungry children, not just here but everywhere, governments and countries that could care less about their own people and more about the coins in their pockets. We all should take time to reflect about this world and about our children who will inherit it from us.  what will we leave them a Utopia or a World in Flames, where not even the cries of dying can be heard over the sound of militaries grinding their own people into dust, I pray for better days, but fear for the worst with fools leading fools to their own demise.
