Yes! The trick is keeping the PB layer totally separate (and thick) like a PB cup... that would prob work!
Hmmm yes I would consider it fluffy, maybe it is whipped.
I missed this yesterday. I actually have some freeze dried raspberries I can play around with. Not sure how this might work; the cooking process cooks all the water out of the ingredients. I must be going blind, missed this one, too. If I undercook a batch by just a very few degrees, the result is soft and very spreadable. (I envision it as a product, but it will need to be packed in a jar and so becomes more expensive to ship.)The Hot Pepper said:

I just meant the flavor name PB&J. Don't mean literally... does not have to be jam even, can be chunky PB and fruit in the fudge...

The direction I'm trying to go with processing is to make a large batch of unflavored "pre-fudge" that has most of the cooking already done. Keep it in cold storage until needed. Then I can break out smaller portions to flavor and finish as needed in a much shorter span of time.

I've gotten some really great feedback from you guys and gals, and ideas for new products, especially from The Boss Man, and for that I am most grateful.
While new products will be forthcoming, I am sticking with the fudge as a stand-alone product. Getting each new product approved is non-trivial and the fudge is approved except for crossing the T's and dotting the I's. Primarily, I'm still working on getting the label approved.
Having gained a little experience with shipping this stuff, I am altering the terms of the offer. Price remains $1/oz, but there is no longer any minimum order required. For orders up to 8 ounces, S&H is still $5 for 1st Class package service. For orders greater than 8 oz, no handling charge and shipping is $7.20 for a small flate rate box. In the unlikely, but desirable event anyone wants more than will fit in a SFRB, I'll ship at cost in a MFRB.
I want to point out this product contains no chocolate. Sometimes people see "fudge" and automatically assume "chocolate". (A chocolate version is an option, but using actual cocoa powder will require a separate process development and approval.)
It does, however, contain dairy products and eggs, and is processed in a facility that also processes peanuts and tree nuts. (Standard allergens warning.)

I've been getting feedback on what foods this product does and doesn't complement. First, for me anyway, it does not go well with hot coffee. It makes moderately hot coffee feel like it's boiling. Makes sense, I guess; double activation of the heat receptors.
Melted with butter in a microwave and drizzled over popcorn is an excellent combination.
Melted in a microwave and brushed on kabobs on a grill is reportedly a tasty use.
Grate some over a bowl of ice cream. Blend a chunk in your morning smoothie for a metabolism boost.
