When I worked in Louisiana there were 3 types of mosquitoes. The ones that hung out around the screen door waiting for you to come out. Neighbor guy - a bird watcher- had multiple water baths (code name for stagnant water mosquito breeding pools!!) so I always got it really bad. Mom said, 'They like you because your 'sweet'.. I detest skeeter's with a passion.

I just read something about a replacement for DEET they are working on at a uni in Cali, we can only hope , because I hate the smell of it. Had to have shower as soon as I came inside to get the stench off of me.
