how hot is a "long hot"

Co-worker is asking me how these "Italian Long Hots" stack up on the scovile scale and I have no idea.

Anyone?

what I found on my google search says around 1000. Long-Hot's are the dried pepper flakes you find at any pizza place, pretty tame stuff.

edit- I do recall eating some fresh longhots that I would estimate are hotter, but any pepper that you can find 'stuffed' recipe's for is pretty tame.

Hot enough to be careful if he's not a chile head.

I'm lookin for a scoville rating or at the least another variety at a similar heat level for comparison.

In other words, I want to know where it stacks up against other peppers :)

I think the heat is around a pepperoncini, those peppers they put in salads.
