There is another article on a local TV web site about catching an adult soliciting sex from a minor.

Now, I don't want to get into a discussion on the evils of sickos who abuse children. Instead, note at the bottom of the story where it says:

"Gregor marks the 150th arrest by a member of the Attorney General's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, made up of various South Carolina law enforcement agencies like the City of Clinton Department of Public Safety."

So, every time they catch someone, it ends up in the local newspapers and on TV. And this particular task force has done this 150 times. One hundred and fifty times. And yet adults in this state still go to chat rooms and solicit sex with someone they believe to be a child, show up, and get arrested.

How stupid do you have to be to not suspect it's a set up? Seriously, how many 13 year old girls are interested in sex with a 43 year old man? I'm just gobsmacked at the stupidity.

If you're going to commit a crime, shouldn't you make some reasonable attempt at not getting caught?
 
Another variant of this story I see at least once a week is " man takes computer in to get fixed, technician finds kid porn on hard drive"

WTF is it with these people? Does liking child porn have an inverse relationship with technical knowledge?

Possibly, it is something seriously wrong in the heads of people who gets turned on by children. For real.

I am surprised I have to tell you this Pam, but a horny man is about as smart as a bag of wet hair. Add in the depraved sicko factor...voila.
 
I really think they are sick, as in not mentally sound. I knew this guy from Reading and he had this thing for good looking girls, so much so he took a picture of his wife and replaced her body to show a much more attractive lady. He got arrested in a sting and is doing 18 years in a federal pen (he crossed state lines to solicit sex).

Why? I don't know. I know he use to be a janitor at an Elementary school and was transfered to a different building but the word at the time is that his ex-wife didn't want him around the children.

Good point. I was thinking that criminals learn to be sneaky or something.
 
Im a member of "Nail a pedeophile to a tree by his balls" group on facebook, everyone here thats on facebook should join too.

I am normaly not sadistic but the things i would like to do to these "people" are very nasty indeed....
 
Are we paying the police to visit these internet sites and entrap citizens?

Why? ........ They got no murders to solve?

I'm thinkin the cops are about the same as the offenders......let's entrap them (the cops).
 
Its like when Dateline has their "Catch a Predator" show, and the men that show up, is amazing, if i recall correctly, the last show, didnt they catch a social worker???

No, we're paying the police to monitor chat rooms were minors hang out to keep sexual predators from singling out children to victimize. No one enticed that 43 year old man into a chat room frequented by children, he went looking for one all on his own.

They got molestation and possible murder to prevent. I'm satisfied with that use of my tax dollars.

There are bad cops, but there are a lot of good ones, too.

I don't watch much TV, but I'm gobsmacked at how common this is, and how often we're seeing stories about school teachers have sex with their 12 and 13 year old students. I mean, what the f***?

You're right, wtf? Why wasn't this happening while I was in school?

What gets me is that they play the 16 year old boy as the victim. I was a 16yr old boy once. And trust me, at that age, if it moves you wanna bang it. So I have a hard time believing anything was forced upon those kids.

In most cases, the only crime is that the kid banged a hideous teacher.

More than one here... Let me remind you of what Wild Man Matt wrote earlier in this thread about how smart a horny man (or boy) is...

Female teachers must laugh themselves silly at all teenage boys who actually think they are charming;)
 
As long as the justice is meted out equally to the pedophile teachers. I'm still boiling from the various female teachers that they previously let off with a slap on the wrist.
