when are plants big enough for my urine/fertilizer and how do you know if they are completly hardened off?

Fertilizer is cheap and my local garden store needs to stay in business, they're the only ones that carry Pro Mix. I'll just buy mine. I used to piss in my back yard to keep the deer away, the deer laughed and ate my plants. The grass died where I pissed.
