I got a big laugh out of how your glasses fogged up.
It still makes me giggle.
That was hilarious!!

I keep watching his Youtube videos over and over with friends, they don't get old!! The Naga cured his eyes for a bit as he could see!!

If anyone here hasn't seen this Pepperheads videos you have to check em out! He gives first hand experiences with many different peppers and with no aids like milk or ice cream, this guy is a true King of eating Hot Peppers!! Here's his Naga Morich review:
You Rock Mate!!

think of some1 getting a soldering iron and shoving it in your mouth and down your throat, then pushing down on it,, then it gets Worse and feels like somee1 putting a hot BBQ coal in your throat. THEN the pain radiates out as that part goes Numb, my ears actually hurt. Its not a real pleasent experience (but got to do at least once to see)

i can see the pain in the pics.....

So what cooled it down best? Milk or a pint?

um Time is best..
its a test to see what it does and if anything, liquids or food is involved then its not a proper test. :)

Oh and an Hour ago i tested the Bih Jolokia :mouthonfire:

Yes, I've found the burn doesn't last long in the mouth. But sometimes if you get a very hot naga or eat more then one, once in your gut it's like a vicious rat tearing apart your insides and it feels like the peppers going to rip through your chest like the scene from Aliens.

This is very well phrased and accurate. :mouthonfire:

Woohoo, another video review!!! It looks like this pepper is a deceiving evil one, as it started out very fruity and good tasting, but after awhile the pain kicks in very strongly. This sounded like a bad tongue burner!

Thanks for being the Human pepper eating guinea pig and King of Pepper reviewers Neil!!

Here's a link to his Bih experience:

You are a Rockstar! I need an update though, when you ate the Morich and the Jolokia, what happened later? Did you get stomach cramps and intestinal pain? That was awesome. Wish I could get my hands on some of them.:onfire:

Hey Hippy you are fearless. I stayed up half the night last night watching most of your vids and am still blown away at your willingness to eat whatever it takes. Very good descriptions of what you taste and feel pretty much through all your vids nice job. I don't think I could eat some of those peppers like did.:mouthonfire:

thanks guys... if you eat on an empty stomach any thing hotter than a Red Hab, its gonna be probably 5 times more painful than the burn, So there is a good start,, as for the Naga's nothing helps much there im afraid, it will sit there BURNING like crap wanting you to throw it up, AND DON'T if possible.. then for the next couple of hrs, you can feel it going through you but its not that bad and you seem to know where it is.. when it hits the lower section of the guts, thats not reallly good for a few Hrs and by then ya don't reallly care bout the Burn thats gonna happen as you just want it gone, plus from the time you eat it, till the time its gone, you tend to get asked a lot "are you ok ?"

hows that JayT

Hey HippySeedCo,

I watched both the naga and the 'bih' vids, and you reckon the naga's worse, and the bih has a better flavour. Can you explain this a bit for me?

Is the naga hotter, worse on the stomach, or just more of a burn, like drinking tabasco compared to crushing a single peppercorn between your teeth?

As to the taste, hows it different?

Cheers,

RS

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm considering that all of the Naga/Bih/Bhut have over a million scoville units and tabasco only has 20,000 and a peppercorn maybe 100, I would say there is NO comparison but then again I havnt ate one yet.

For me (as someone who hasn't eaten a whole one in one go) They are extreme. I mean if you're not used to that kind of heat even small amounts are going to be just burn & swearing & not much else. When you start to get used to it it gets down to personal tastes.
i prefer the taste of Naga myself, it has a slight bitterness as almost an aftertaste just before the heat comes on that goes well with most of my favourite foods.
The Bihs & Bhuts were more like 4 or 5 Habs crammed into a little package, a more fruity flavour. I don't mind them at all either.

But yeah...all extreme heat, you're probably not going to taste much when you start down that road.

Thanks bent. Slowly working my way up to it, but certainly not ready to eat raw extreme chilli's. Still cooking with them tho'.

Cheers,

RS

eating them straight up is just for others entertainment. We ate slivers and that was extremely uncomfortable. the thing is it slowly peaks and holds the burn, thats what does you in the sustained burn.
I mean before I had them nothing chilli(sauce or what ever) scared me I'd always give it a go these days I ask what sort of chillis in it, if they say lots of naga I always only try a little first lol.
Seriously though when you get a really good quality pod there is nothing like the heat.

"Nagas of War".(c) name of my new naga sauce.

I had severe stomach pain after eating 2 small Nagas at the same time. Tabasco is like water compared to this stuff.
