Well, I just wanted to announce that I'm back. I know that it has been a while since I last posted, mostly due to an unfortunate event in my life.
Well, I was busy working on finishing up my grow room before I disappeared and in doing so had an accident. While running the electric for the room, I also decided to install 6 more light fixtures in the basement (it really needed to be brightened up). However, as it turned out, that was literally my downfall. I was in too much of a hurry (or lazy, which ever you want to believe) to go into the garage and drag out my step ladder and instead used an old kitchen chair. While stepping onto the chair, my ankle rolled and I went flying across the basement. Also, it is important to note that i wasn't drinking at the time. Wish that I had, it would make me seem less of a cluts...I went to work that night feeling fine, but woke up the next day unable to walk. I gimped around for 24 more hours and finally had the wife drive me to the ER when things got worse. I came to find out that I had broken my Navicular bone (the main weight bearing bone in my foot). In fact I broke it so good that the Doctor had to place 2 screws in it. This was early February and the Doctor says that I may not be back on my feet until April 20th.
Now here is the REAL sad part of my tale...Here it is March 6th and I still haven't gotten to starting any of my seeds. I don't know if it is too late to get them started in time for a plant out date of May 30th, but I suspect that I have missed the boat. Fortunately, I have a few friends who are handy enough with their hands and they have managed to finish the electric in my grow room and it is functional now, but I don't know if I have time now to start my transplants.
I have missed all of you guys, even if I'm not as popular as Pam, Chiliac and Rabbit to warrant a post 'Where is Pepperfreak'
