Is this a fatalii...?

Hello everyone!

This is my first post. I purchased this pepper from our local garden center, but don't know what this is. Could this be a fatalii?

Any insight would be much appreciated!

Most of the Fataliis I have seen have a pointed tip. That looks a bit more like a datil pepper to me. Dont let me lie to you though. Theres bound to be somebody on here who knows for sure.

I would say no to Fatalii, the texture of the green pods give it away IMO.

It's not a Fatalii and not a Datil either. I don't know what you have there; probably a cross.

I agree with everyone, this is definitely not a Yellow Fatalli, the Fatalli shape is more pointed.

Nope.

The Foliage doesn't look like any chinense i have growing.
the the skin looks liek it is too thick.
what does the tip of the pepper look like if it has multi tips it could be a pepperoncini they seem to have that charaqterisitc. maybe a yellow jalapeno would be cool how is the heat?

First: Fatallis aren't available at the garden center. They only have boring peppers there.
Second: ...I forgot what the second thing was. Anyway...
