Joyner's Hot Pepper Powders 2014 GLOG

As of now here is the somewhat final list for the 2014 growing season...the 7 pot red has a question mark because I am waiting to see if I can use a 1/2 acre in Va of my uncles and isolate. It is very hard to leave over 100 different varieties in the seed bin and not grow them all out!

Best of luck to everyone and I plan to get seeds started in the next few days.

Hey Chris, what is the purpose of the wood stripping between the plants, to keep the spacing even?  Thanks.
Aesthetics of square foot gardening. There is no true purpose other than spacing but it does make a huge visual difference having them in place.

Those thai's are raging!
They are, I would guess they are 6 inches taller since that update. Perfect amounts of rain and sun! I really have found Thai my favorite for most all cooking.

Chris, thanks for the answer above. Last question. After the initial application of chicken manure just prior to plant out, do you still have to feed the plants periodically? If so, what are using?

I feed every other week if I remember with fish fert. For the most part I just let the plants go and try not to over obsess on feeding. I seriously have plants growing out of cracks in patios and other structures that produce :)

Very cool predator, flower and pod pics Chris! Did you recognize the Hover Fly in the Purple Jalapeno flower pic? The adults are nectar feeders and pollinators, but the larvae feed on aphids and thrips. Nice to see your inner and outer perimeter security on the job. :)
