Another month? When is your first frost there?

Our first frost can happen any time this month. The average shows it will hit in November but fingers are crossed!

My fingers are crossed too. I am hoping Sunday will not be worse than low 40's for the low. I have sooooo many unripe pods its not even funny.

All plants are in the ground. Hopefully I can dig a few up to overwinter but next year I will do a handful in pots along with the way too many I put in the ground.

I noticed the forecast changed, weird that there is no mention of frost or freeze warnings. Hope it remains that way! Looks like most recent forecast here now has 38/39 for only 4 hours early AM before suns comes up.

Getting ready for a chili cook off and we are donating some powder for the charity raffle. Hope there are some true pepperheads there! Last year we were able to get People's Choice for our chili. Hopefully there is some daylight left when I get home, so many pods to pick!

Handing out a few samples as well, time to head out the door!
