Everything looks great in your garden about now Chris, and you're gonna have a Ton of Thai powder! Great job!
Thanks Rick, a ton is just about right. I will be putting the Tri-Thai back in stock, keeping 2 others that I deem my favorite as pure but all the rest are going into tow mixes. Once will be all the Thai's just dried and powdered while the other will be smoked!

Dammit Chris. Stop trying to show up everybody else. I kid. I kid. Great haul man. Keep up the great work!
The mosquitoes are ruthless! My backyard faces south and even in this bright sun they are out...unheard of in these parts. As for showing everyone up, I am a long way from that I am afraid :) Hope you are doing well up in PA and just for you I'll post the C. chinense shortly..ha

Wonderful harvest, love da colors, pics and that cool wooden basket!
Thanks! The basket was a gift for father's day from the wife. That is the larger one and the smaller one is already full waiting for me to start the drying process! Thanks for stopping by!

You are a beast!!!
I blame the black gold from the worms in the compost. ;)

Looking great man!  When you smoke your pods, how long do you usually go?  I just smoked a tray of jals for 4 hours at about 250 and had some heavy smoke up front and let the coals take care of the rest.  They are on the dehydrator now for a couple days, but I wanted to see what you like to do.  After all, you are a PRO...

I definitely want more of that cherrywood smoked trinidad mix that I got last time. That was the bomb!
Lucky you, I just smoked 4 pounds of it! Guessing it will be about a few ounces but finally the Butch T and Nagas are putting out!

I go slow and low, usually 200 for 6 hours or so but it depends on the wood and pods! thanks for the compliments...I am still learning.

Looks delicious :)  About how many ounces of powder does a pound of peppers make on average?  I know water weight varies by strain but just curious, I have only ever made small amounts of powder.

Usually a rough guide is an ounce per pound. As you said some things play into that but it is a good rule. Looking forward to trying this batch for sure! 15 types of Thai in there.
