Chicken and waffles? Well that's just one dish, that means everyone makes chicken and waffles. Seems boring. It's just fried chicken on waffles you can't do much more too it that would taste good.

I wasn't really thinking traditional chicken and waffles but I guess it is still too specific

Start narrowing down these ideas.

I think we are too good for just chicken.

World Cup not a bad idea...traditional foods from South Africa (what do they eat?).

I like it. It can include red wine, I think they make that. It would take some work and research, but that's what this is about! We would ALL have to step outside of our comfort zone.

Chicken....bah!

South American food? I'll do a mean pastel de choclo, yum, maybe pulled pork inside, or spicy chorizo. It's like a big stuffed cornbread almost, but moist like a souffle.

pie

(and yes... i'm a little tipsy :P)

If it is AMERICAN PIE then it sounds good.
But I would go with chicken ( I have a good recipe from my old carnivorous days but cannot cook now .....so just suggesting)

I have been described sometimes as lewd and suggestive. I don't actually do anything. I just suggest it.

I agree but the tofu crowd doesn't.
LOL so dim sum is your middle ground. Booooooooooooooooooooo

think about it, jars of pureed green beans, carrots, squash, sweet potato, peaches, apples, etc...even meat offerings.

If people are daring enough it can be done.
