I do my steak very rare....if fact, just bring the cow in and i'll cut off what i want to eat and ride the rest home
 
I like my steak rare too, I went through a stage of eating bits of steak raw, but I wouldn't recommend it because of the bacteria it might contain or whatever. Maybe that's why I'm a bit of a mad cow :confused: I think it might have been a need for iron at the time. Welcome again David.
 
Welcome from PA. I agree on the Three Hot Tamales Garlic Lover's steak sauce. Personally, I wouldn't use any steak sauce, but if I had someone make me a steak that is more than medium rare, then that would be my choice.

Steak Tampico
Your prefered slab of beef,marinated,dry rubbed as you like.
Blistered and peeled Poblano or Anaheim/New mex Chiles,Sliced into narrow
strips.
Some Mexican,or Jack cheese.
Grill ém rare to med.
Top w/ Chiles,then pile on cheese.
Enjoy w/a cold 1
Best with a rays post season victory,should be a lot of those!!!!!!!

Prepare your steak the way you like. Serve it with a BBQ sauce and a bit of Rajas and some crusty sour-dough bread. Rajas are caramelized poblano and Yellow onions. Yerrrry tasty. Welcome.
