Speaking of represent, King, great job there. Love the Chocolate Scorpion. I have a nice plant of that one growing, too. Couple of baby pods on it already.

So the santa Ana winds came to SoCal today. I had a feeling it might affect me so I checked before I went to work and good thing I did. I had opened it earlier because didn't want it to get too hot. When I came out it was like a parachute catching all the air. I was able to take the tarp off after yelling for help. Warning. Pics ate disturbing.

So it looks like you survived the winds with minimal damage? That didn't look pretty, but your next pics were rockin and rollin - and I've got to admit, your full sun pics made me jealous. It just snowed here like 20 minutes ago...

Andy. All was well. No plants had permanent damage. A few bent ones. But no fatalities. Just 6 busted CFLs. Really need to spend more time transplanting. Those babies in full sun will be put to the test when they get direct sun at 80+ weather. Being in the low 70s have helped harden them off.

Nice that all your plants survived the winds. Watch out for those busted CFLs. When they break they release powdered Mercury and Mercury vapor. It is actually pretty dangerous for kids and pets. That's the downside of using florescents. Here's a link fron the EPA.

Good luck this year! Your plants look awesome.

Lookin' good DeNNiZ... I guess you and Doc will be eating Gochus before I will this year... Good for you! I hope you like them. I see what looks like holes pecked by birds in your Eggplant leaves. I tell ya... Pigeons are rats with wings that'll eat just about anything.
