Well, I had to. The prices of the meat was right and the wife and I wanted to have some friends over.
I have a 10 lb. pork shoulder and a 12 lb. brisket on the smoker right now.
The shoulder got my special rub (complete with a little Dave's Zesty Blend, thanks IGG) and the brisket got the same rub sans the dried peppers...the wife doesn't like it on brisket.
My camera is out of batteries, or I'd post pics.
I have the screen door open and the smell is already making me hungry. I can't wait 'till tomorrow afternoon!!!!!!
