Last Harvest Blues............

ghostharvest001.jpg

In the upper left are...the last of some peppers.

To their right are....some more.

Then we have some....OH you get the point!;)

A morbid end more like a hot and good end i would say,Last of mone are ripening now few,Rainforest Tricolor,Nepal Orange and something ive got to work out what the hell it is

I'll have my final harvest tomorrow I think. Yours do at least look ripe. I have too many pods on my plants that didn't ripen yet. I'm running outta bananas!

I can understand that this was VERY tempting!!! I am coming up with stuff like that all the time and end up saying it and apologizing for it at the same time! This sarcastic stuff is too good to remain unheard!

cheezy; looks like its time for you to break down and build a greenhouse so you can grow year round....
some reclaimed windows, framing, large jugs of water painted matte black, a couple big fans; could extend your growing season quite a bit...

Too true sid. SWMBO won't go for that until the kids are out and we buy some acreage.

Right now our 1/2 acre in a nice neighborhood won't permit such construction anyways.

Great thought though!

And the funny thing about is that no one else here will understand it...

70F today here in Virginia, my crop still going. They are all in containers and I just bring them in on really cold nights (30's) and then back out in the sun when the temp goes up. Probably won't have my last harvest until December. We'll see how many can survive being back in the house this winter. 3 made it last year.

Not a bad idea, but I like growing in the ground. I did bring in 4.

I started some new seeds for next year and I have plenty of heat preserved. So I am OK now!

just a matter of time for me Cheezy...however, I did have a pretty good 22nd harvest I just posted pics of...this is part 1 and I will have to finish tomorrow morning...I figure I have at least 2 more harvest before first frost....

Yes, yes AJ, yours are quite nice.....
*anal bastard....how are you going to possibly line up all of the graphs and pie charts from today's harvest, with the spreadsheets and 4 page dissertation you have planned for tomorrows harvest? Will I need a sliderule to decipher the data? A protractor? an abacus????*;)

I am jealous of your setup AJ! And your attention to detail.
:)

cheezy - nice harvest for a final harvest.

It's about correct. The socialist east imported tropic and exotic fruit only in small amounts for the government people. The average people on the street didn't have a chance to buy those fruit. So when the wall came down in '89 there have been a lot of non-pc jokes in the west about using bananas as a bait and so on. ;)

This s a contemporary '89 satire centerfold. Translation: Zone-Gaby (17) is happy. "My first banana!" German Democratic Republic was usually called the Zone in the west referring to the former Soviet occupied Zone.
