I looked at that one and many others, couple of the benefits that drew me to this one was the timer feature and that it still goes down to 95 degrees, most of the other Excalibur's only go down to 105 degrees now. I know from reviews I read and saw on youtube the Excalibur's just seem to have a good overall rating that was the deciding factor for me.
I use the same timer that controls my lights and mine also goes to 95. I think they changed to 105 a year later.

Well, my dehydrator arrived today, I was not expecting it to arrive until the middle of next week. Now it's sitting on my kitchen counter and of course it's back to work for me tomorrow, so I cant even use it until my next days off being Labor day weekend. But I admit she sure is Purdy!
When you use it if you have a heat probe can you do a test and see how close the digital is to your probe? I need to pull the trigger on another one soon. I was gifted two additional almost new 40 inch electric smokers just like the one I use for smoking pods
