Cool! Thanks Chris! I'm ordering the LEM smoker next…I've got buttloads of red, ripe Jalapeño on the plants, two massive pecan trees, and it's time to make Chipotle!

I looked at that one and many others, couple of the benefits that drew me to this one was the timer feature and that it still goes down to 95 degrees, most of the other Excalibur's only go down to 105 degrees now. I know from reviews I read and saw on youtube the Excalibur's just seem to have a good overall rating that was the deciding factor for me.

When you use it if you have a heat probe can you do a test and see how close the digital is to your probe? I need to pull the trigger on another one soon. I was gifted two additional almost new 40 inch electric smokers just like the one I use for smoking pods :)
