Nice! My mom used to make something like that growing up.  Not as fancy lookin', and she never put in the bacon candles... but she'd stick a piece of cheese between the meatloaf and the potato and another small piece on top of the potatoes... soooo good.

wow.. I didn't even know it was bacon day on saturday but we ended up taking some bacon wrapped poppers and maple bacon cupcakes to a bbq party.
