Meatfreak 2015 Glog

Hi all, thanks for watching. Will be keeping a small glog this year to share progress with my friends. I've started my grow on 26th of January, everything has popped by now and true leaves are being formed. Like every year I will be growing multiple "new" Jalapeno's I've collected so far, about 21. The rest of my grow will exist mostly out of crosses I made previous season and new crosses/phenotypes from friends. Goal was to keep the amount of plants limited because I want more time on my hands for of course family and to grow other veggies to.

Thunder Mountain Longhorns look amazing Stefan! How are they heat/flavor wise? You will sell seeds?

Sukanya - apparently there is a white flower and a non-white one.  So you got both!  I am growing this variety coming season and information came from Junglerain
Yeah its an white flower but plant stays really small and low and small pods.

Very nice looking pics Stefan... you've really got it goin' on! There's no way you're eating that much heat as you harvest it... how are you processing and preserving it?

Keep up the good work!
Your absolutely right, Rick. I'm not eating all that heat I harvest hehe. I smoke and dry some, the Jalapeno's I pickle. Then still I have way to much so I try and sell some pods and give away to friends. Not gonna be a problem this year as yields are low. The odd weather is effecting everyone's grow globally so it seems.

Looking good, when do you expect to make the new seeds available on your site..?
When the seeds have dried long enough. Should start to add the first ones really soon, but still limited stock for now.

More nice color Stefan... good on ya! I'm especially interested in the orange 7-Pot Primo, how does that variety taste? Heat level?
Thanks, Rick. Taste like any orange superhot, very fruity. It's superhot :)

And have to agree, fantastic looking grow Stefan!
Good to see you here, Scott!

Although the temperatures are still pretty good for the time of the year, I started to clear out the polytunnel. Been a busy year again and most of the pods are ripe anyway. Processing these harvests will take up the rest of the month.

Total weight of 23,8lbs
