and thanks to all for your friendship you all have been wonderful

i must admit that i got really hurt on another forum(not hot pepper type) years back but that didn't happen here!!

i am very blessed to have such good friends on here and even though i only (so far met) a handful of you we share a common love for hot peppers and yes even one another


thanks and may all the blessings, peace and joy of Jesus Christ be with you all!!

My family are just beginners with hot peppers and you all have shared your knowledge and so many seeds with everyone. We all thank you for being so obsessed with hot peppers!

Our future gardens will be so blessed with many different kinds of hot peppers and tomatoes - that is what heaven on earth is all about.

Is the ANZACs you're watching from the 1980s, with Paul Hogan and a lot of soap opera TV actors? I remember that one, I don't know of any others off hand.

yes it is the one from the 80"s with Paul Hogan, i never saw it before, i dont suppose it was very popular here?
they down played the American Role in the movie and put us in a different light that being an American i was not too used to seeing, you see movies that are made here emphasize the American perspective and down play the rest, i actually found it a little refreshing and besides the story wasn't about us, the focus was upon the Aussies, the Brits treated you guys as expendable we told them right from the beginning that we would only fight under American commanders, in many ways we saw what happened to you Mates and we were not going to be a repeat of it also even though we where down played some i know as history teaches that we had a very large role in the great war and we also did our fair share, in the beginning we where Green, but we cut our baby in that war, and we gained a reputation of being hard fighting rough riding fighting men,our marines gain great reputation there, i was impressed to see that the Germans regarded the Aussies as respected and even feared, they said you guys where like animals!

i didn't know many of the ACTOR as i never followed oz soaps but i did recognize 3 actors anyway

two of which went on to Crocodile Dundee PAUL HOGAN AND ALEC WILSON AS WELL AS THE GUY WHO PLAYED ERSKIN CROCODILE DUNDEE 2 AND DINGO IN ANZAC CANT REMEMBER HIS NAME

ALL IN ALL I WANNA WATCH THE WHOLE SERIES AGAIN SOON

Thanks for mentioning that ANZACs miniseries. I looked it up and just finished watching it myself. Top stuff.
I don't know if anyone else in the U.S. would be into it, but think of an 80s version of an aussie band of brothers everyone, set in the forgotten war (used to be called the war to end all wars, but pretty safe to call it the forgotten war these days).
Very 80s though, very aussie, and when I say aussie, I'm talking from even my perspective. I'm a fridgie that drives a ute, use all the normal colloquialisms that aussies do. Like firemen are "firies", every name has a 'o', 'y', or "ie" after it etc. ;)

i liked i just finished up it was an awsome great story i never heard of anyone over hear watching it
its unfortunate that it was forgotton but thats not surprising we are forgetting what it really means to be an american, and those that died to secure our freedom are slowly fading into forgetfulness

i love ausse slang alot
