Mido's 2012

Finally after a brutally busy spring season at my webshop it is slowing down a bit and I have the time to start a Glog.

For those that don't know me as I haven't posted in maybe 6 months, I'm mido or Wouter in real life and I'm from the netherlands. I grow peppers in a 12 meter long plastic tunnel greenhouse in what I have 36 compartments to keep the different varieties of peppers seperated to prevent crossbreeding. This I do because I sell some of the seeds.

Here is a picture of the tunnel when it was just build, at the moment te picture was taken I just stared building the compartments.

Besides the tunnel greenhouse I also have a smaller greenhouse.

This year I'm growing 49 varieties of peppers Isolated and 18 varieties of Aji peppers O.P.

I'll continue in my next post with the plants that have just been planted out the last couple of days.

How long is your grow season in the poly tunnel?

I've started to put the plants in the tunnel around the first of may. Around middle of november I will pick the last peppers, maybe a bit later. All depends on the weather. In 2011 we had beter weather early spring. This year we are a couple weeks later.

Time for some more picture's, the weather is realy bad here in the Netherlands, to cold for this time of year and the result is loads of flower drop and little peppers and the few peppers I get grow slow.

Looks great.. Its good to see most people have pod. My plants were so set back that I have some buds but still no pods. They seem to be taking off now that I have them in this great New Jersey soil... Good growing!!!!

Sure does look great. The plants are loaded with buds but develop into pods realy slow.

Thanks Greg, I'm realy getting into photography, I might do just that when I have collected enough picture's in a few years time.

Nice pornage Medo

That madballz is really tasty looking. Has the same coloration as my red 7's. I can't wait to try my madballz pods if and when the plant produces.
