My few little peppers 2010

Thanks :)

Here's today's harvest:

Only few pods left on the scotch bonnets, but they are flowering and setting fruits again, i don't know if they'll be ripe on time before cold days, maybe i'll have to put them inside for maturating...

Same for the rocotos, only the one with rounded pods still have a few...
But a lot of new pods are forming too, here's a nice rocoto cluster: :)
(even if there's several flowers on a node, i usually don't get several pods on it)

Great garden and harvests. I'm glad you are here. I like seeing how the same few plants progress. Looks like you picked the best plants for your climate and you take great care of them.

Thanks.
I enjoy taking those pics, so why not sharing them ? héhé
The climate here is pretty nice for growing plants. :)
But the plants are setting a lot of new fruits, i'm not sure they'll be ripe before the first frost...

The brazilian starfishs are really good, very fruity (i find them to have some kind of strawberry flavour) and a little heat with it (not so mild, not too hot).
About the peruvian white habaneros, i've only eaten a few, but i was finding they were lacking some flavor... I have let some isolated pods a little more than a week after turning to final color, and they were the tastiest ones i've eaten on the plant. So maybe i should try to let them a little on the plant before harvesting, but it won't be easy with the number of pods (it's already a pain to pick them up lol).

Here's some cool pods pics:

A jamaican scotch bonnet is forming some weird looking pods ! ^^
I don't know if it's because of colder temperatures or lack of some nutrients...

It looks like the end of the season is coming closer... with the fresh temperatures, the remaining pods are ripening a lot slower too.

A few more pods :

Hopefully temperatures have rised up a little, no more nights at 4-5°C. ^^
I don't know how long it will last...

And another harvest... surely one of the last...
After some nice weather last week, temperatures are goin back down.

We had 2 nights with light frost las t week (only a few frost on the roofs), but no damage on the plants.
So i'm still harvesting a little: :)
