Danger will robinson, I see what you did there :P

Yes I have a 5L… Sorry volume should have been specified.  Adjust according to volume of vessel!

Danger Will Robinson!!

How big is I out flask? If you have a 1ltr flask and put 1 ltr in there then set it on the stir plate, your going to have a mess to clean up, #isuredid:(

I'm thinking that 800 to 900 ml might be good but now I need to get a 2000ml flask.

I have a 1L and a 2L, and was planning to plug the specific type of extract into a calculator and aim for 1035-1045 gravity ...

Good idea on not overfilling, though, certainly ...

LOL - we're in HTH's thread ;)

1035-1040 is perfect, if they are going into a high gravity wort, I step up to about 1055 for the last feed before pitching.

I also have a 1l and a 2l.  I use the 1 litre to rehydrate dry yeast, the 2 litre for a regular abv 5 gallon batch, and the 5 for big beers and double batches.

Homebrewing is everywhere in here…!

Great thread.  Very inspirational to see how you started and where you have gone.  Great stuff!  Keep up the competitions and grats on the success.
