All tucked away. I need to recheck the gravity tomorrow when I add more O2. I had trubby wort to test and it said 1.100. No way it was that high. At least I'm not convinced.
Went downstairs to add some O2 and it about blew the lid off of the carboy. So no O2 needed. Fortunately, it had the airlock pushed up against the fridge so there was no huge mess.
I wasn't concerned about that happening with as much headspace as I had. Took another reading but the wort is already fermenting so it's hard to say what it was. Says 1.080 this morning.
Don't think I'm going to use my imperial stout for the competition. It didn't ferment out like it should have so I'm going to use the oatmeal coffee stout I brewed already in its place. No sense entering something that I know won't score well.
Good luck man! Your brews look awesome! My lil bro is huge on brewing. He makes some pretty amazing beers. He makes a cream ale every once in a while that is frickin amazing!
