Need GOOD cumari seeds....no luck with this batch

Anyone have any Cumari seeds they could spare? These ones I got from peppermania didn't work out so well. Poor germination and the ones that did sprout were weak and lacked vigor.

Not holding this one against peppermania, the lemon drops I got were fantastic and sprouted quick as hell and really took off. just chalking it up to shitty luck.


I do have things for trade too.
 
Just a bad batch I guess, it happens. all my seeds from peppermania worked great. good luck with ya search.
 
I think Cumari are just tough plants to grow kinda like the white hab. I have two plants up from peppermania that are small. Just took a couple of seed from the seed parcel, hopefully will have fruits and seed in the fall.

Supposed to be extremely fruity and aromatic and smell kinda like fruit loops. And hot. Sounds like such a badass pepper must grow it!
 
You should send Beth (Peppermania) an e-mail and let her know you had a problem with the Cumari seeds you bought. She's a great person to deal with and I'm sure she would like to know if something isn't right.

Be sure to tell her you had a second expert pepper grower try to germinate them as well and they didn't work.

Yeah thats a good idea I just didn't want it to seem like i was complaining. I've heard nothing but good things about peppermania and aside from the cumari the seeds seem to be great quality.
 
Ha! just had a full batch of Caribbean Red and Fatalii seedlings out of the "incubator". there's now room for Cumari.
 
I had low germ rate from my peppermanie cumari seeds as well. 2 out of 10. One of them got smushed when i tried to water my plants drunk, the other one is growing suuuper slow. The limons i got from there are super healthy though. Seems like cumari's are just hard to grow??
 
mister al sent me two wild brazil pods aka cumari and i planted 4 and 4 of em sprouted in no time one of the easier one this year actually
 
Kyle, I had similar experience, planted cumari..didn't know it was supposed to be difficult, shoot it sprouted quickly and is growing good. Sometimes not knowing is a good thing.
