of course in canada, the land owner would be charged with defacing the landscape, endangering neighbours and litering with non approved plastic and excessive pollution from diesel emissions. his fine would be larger than the bp oil spill and his jail time longer than a first degree murderer. he would lose his property and all possessions and his children would be forced into re-socialization and taken from the family.

good on the landowner to take things into his own hands to prevent damage to his property.
