Had alot of dissapointing tamales this year for some reason. Might have to start making them myself..

New Mexican red chiles and home grown pequin rehydrating for the menudo. I blitzed them, then added them in the broth with the tripe and trotters

The tamales came out perfectly. I ate three of them to stave off my hunger for the menudo.

Those are the perfect on the go snack.

These green chile tamales are spicy from the inside out. The tasty masa on the outside helps to quell the fire which it contains.

On the go. Like you can pack them away and eat them later.

The aztecs used to take them on hunting and gathering trips.
