Not so many peppers as most, but very satisfying

Red habanero

The red habanero has pods already

2 Chocolate habaneros

Madame Jeanette, a normal growing one, and a stunted one.

Mystery peppers, they were just marked 'chili pepper'

One mystery pepper plant has already 2 ripe peppers.

One of my inside cayennes

And the little ones : Thai, and an extra Madame Jeanette

Here and in the Netherlands it is known as 'Spaanse peper' (Spanish pepper), but I believe in the rest of the world it is known as 'Dutch pepper'

Another week-end, so another update. No pics of the plants today, as it would be just a repeat of last week.

I noticed this little one hidden under a bunch of unripe ones. Very little, but the first ripe one:

It has been a bad week this week. Last time we had a heatwave with temperatures above 30°C, I had a 2 week break from work, so I had time to move them around in the shade. This week I was working again, result : lot of flowers, buds and leaves dropping.
On the other hand, things are going in the right direction :

it's going to be "one of those years" when things don't go as planned.
I'm having the same problems - leaf and flower drop.

Yes, today still 35°C, next week a more manageable 27° to 28° C, but rain and storm coming One does not choose the weather.

The high temps are hard on the plants, but
The gnarl on the pods amps up. The wickedest
pods my scorpions ever threw happened last
Summer during the record-breaking temps.

I made stir fry fried rice with one chocolate Habanaro, 3 of the ones on the second picture and one of my Cayennes . Just 2 portions (one for tomorrow). Sure was tasty.
