glog Not so many peppers as most, but very satisfying

Current:

Red habanero

The red habanero has pods already

2 Chocolate habaneros

Madame Jeanette, a normal growing one, and a stunted one.

Mystery peppers, they were just marked 'chili pepper'

One mystery pepper plant has already 2 ripe peppers.

One of my inside cayennes

And the little ones : Thai, and an extra Madame Jeanette

Edit: forgot this one : Spanish pepper

I've got a mystery stunted pepper, going to give it a couple of weeks to see what it does

Normally, when I come home from work around 5 Pm, I take the inside peppers up to give them some extra 4 hours of direct sun, but some days I'm lazy, and that space is limited too.

Space is always an issue... I always start off with a lot of varieties because in the beginning they don't take up any room. But when they become larger I start to realize that there's no room to put them all and with pain in the heart I have to eliminate some of them. Happens every year...

Red habanero is starting to grow many pods

One off the chocolate habanero s has 2 pods already :

Madame jeanette has very tiny pod (you can hardly see it )

And the spanish pepper is also getting productive :

Something is eating my pepper plants. It started with the basil :

and moved out to my pepper plants. Entire branches eaten, but the peppers on it were on the ground

And my stunted Madame Jeanette has opened it first flowers :

yes it could be caterpillars
I don't know if this will help but I always plant a pot of sacrificial nasturtiums to tempt caterpillars and other chomping insects, once the nasturtiums start looking as though they've been eaten then I take measures and check all the other plants.

Madame Jeanette was the last of the C. Chinense to grow pods, but she has produced already more pods then my Chocolate Habaneros :

they're coming along nicely - I'm still waiting on my cayennes, lots of flowers and small peppers but none ripe yet
What kind of heat are Madame Jeanettes?

Heat of a Habanero, but a fruity, citrus-like taste.

Is your 'Spanish Pepper' what they call Guindillas?
