Plants are coming along nicely. I notice the
pots multiplied between May 15 and May 22!

Normally, when I come home from work around 5 Pm, I take the inside peppers up to give them some extra 4 hours of direct sun, but some days I'm lazy, and that space is limited too.

Here is an extra picture of the little ones, including my second Cayenne:

and my first ripe outside peppers this year:

Something is eating my pepper plants. It started with the basil :
basilDSCN1204.jpg

and moved out to my pepper plants. Entire branches eaten, but the peppers on it were on the ground

And my stunted Madame Jeanette has opened it first flowers :

And my harvest for this week (the green one is from the eaten branches)

yes it could be caterpillars :(
I don't know if this will help but I always plant a pot of sacrificial nasturtiums to tempt caterpillars and other chomping insects, once the nasturtiums start looking as though they've been eaten then I take measures and check all the other plants.

Another week-end, so another post.

Madame Jeanette was the last of the C. Chinense to grow pods, but she has produced already more pods then my Chocolate Habaneros :

they're coming along nicely - I'm still waiting on my cayennes, lots of flowers and small peppers but none ripe yet
What kind of heat are Madame Jeanettes?

Plants looking great, you will have lots of pods!

Is your 'Spanish Pepper' what they call Guindillas?
Originally from the Basque region, I believe, if that's
the case. Your pods look like them.
