can you say "RECYCLE"??!? I knew you could...

Sorry Salsalady, they did not get tossed into the recycle bin. No idea how many 6 packs and I think it would take 10 40# bags of ice to fill the tub :)

Nice work mill. It reminds me of my kitchen benches and balcony floor back in the uni days after a big night.
Was there an occasion?

Yeah there was. I was bottling two batches of homebrew today and needed to get the labels off those bottles for it. I have saved the bottles from what I drink to get enough for the homebrew. 120 bottles sat in sanitizer solution overnight and made the label cleaning task so much easier.

I use plastic beer bottles when I make beer but I use recycled wine bottles for my wine and I quit taking the labels off the bottles because they won't give me the recycle deposit back if the bottles don't have labels, so I just do my best to leave the labels on, so if I give a bottle of wine away, the recipient can get the deposit.

(I am not sure how bottle recycling works in other areas but here, when we purchase a case of beer, a bottle of wine or a bottle of booze, we are charged a recycle fee(.10cents depending on the size of the bottle. then we have recycle depots where we take the bottles back and get the fee back. but if the label is not on the bottle then we do not get the fee back, cans are a different story.)

Recycling here is really easy. I have a huge bin, same size as my trash can, that is just for recyclables. We do not pay an extra cost for the bottles or cans and we do get perks for recycling them.

I thought that looked like bottle washing. You doin better than recyclin, Millworkman, you're REUSING. Hmm, I miss my brewing days.
