Omri,
Nice work with the camera, the soft lighting really brings out the "color tones"

Question for you......Your Nagabons seem less crevassed than the one's I grew from seed,(THSC) this was my 1st year growing them, however I did over-winter a couple, and will start some new from my own seed stock, were yours from new seed or your previous seed stock...

Greg

Great pics Omri :)
Thanks, Rael. :)

Thank you, now I'm blushing.

It's my first year growing them as well. seeds came from Neil. I do have a couple of younger plants (still ones from Neil) and the pods (that haven't ripened yet, BTW) do seem a little different. well it is a cross after all and obviously isn't stable yet. it a truly wonderful chile, though. :)

Thanks for the rapid reply........lol
I really like that "Naga-Bondish" flavor, I'm curious to see how the'll grow out this year.

Greg

Yeah, I'm pretty quick. some appreciate it, while some... err... make fun of me because of it. a little too quick maybe.

They have a pretty strong C. chinense flavor. very fragrant. :)

Question my friend...on this pod...is the cirlcular patern caused by the corolla?...if so, I have a theory about that...the genetic makeup of those pods, more specifically the strength of the tissue around the center of the corolla is greater and holds the corolla in place due to enhanced (thicker, stronger) cell structure...and that through selective breeding you could develop a strain that all pods would eventually have this "ring"...

this came to mind over the past few years I have been growing scorpions...and over the years I have gotten more and more plants that have "stingers" by only keeping seeds from "stingered" pods...and the corolla on the scorpion pods is what causes the stinger shape...

so what I am saying, is that if you wanted to make a "stingered" version you could...probably take a long time but I think you could do it..

everything looks awesome man...

Fantastic pictures buddy,i see your camera and growing skills get better..True Pepper porn.
Thank you, brother. means a lot. :)

Thank you, AJ. :)
Yes, it is caused by the corolla. all pods have it at some degree.
I too believe it's a genetic tendency and I'm sure one could cultivate stingers. :)

Hey Omri. Be careful, your photos are of such great quality and detail that your fingerprints are all over the internet.

Sounds dumb I know, but I just couldn't help being amazed at the details of your prints on that last pic. You are a damn good photographer.

You really are showing off your photography skills Omri.

I really dig the Bangladeshi Naga, are there different colors available?

Thank you. I guess I should be more careful.

All the colors are actually the same variety. the pods ripen completely to yellow, a few days later to orange and only then they reach the red color.

Still waiting for the some of the varieties I sowed late this year to ripen, so here's a familiar chile:
