Yeah. Lol I was freaking out a little. Pissed me off more than anything. It was just so much grain lol. It soaked up almost 3 gallons lol.

1.092. I got a little greedy with the sparge. If I would have only put 7gallons in the fermenter it would have obviously been higher.
We'll see how low it finishes. It may get down enough to do 9.5-10%. But I'd be happy with 9. The bubbles forming in the carboy were a nice brown.

Lol I didn't leave much room. She's gonna get messy.

The blowoff is in another bucket with sanitizer. I don't think I have a bucket that carboy can fit in. Maybe I have a tray or something I can set it in lol.

I literally had it in the dark, had my phone ready, snapped the pic, bad pulled the light back off. 10 seconds

Looks good and it must have been nice to use your new keggle. You are going to get some nice blow off tube action with that headspace.

Yeah. I have it sitting in a Rubbermaid. I may put a box over it too lol. I forgot about leaving room for the yeast starter haha. Oh well. I'll pay the price for this one.

Yeah but I would have to siphon anything off at this point. not sure if I would pull yeast out.

What do you think the krausen that erupts will be primarily - it's primarily yeast right? ...

I'm not sure, because I've read very little on brewing, generally speaking ...

I used one of those on Piney the Baby and thought they were great. I really liked how you can start the siphon with them.
