Picked up the ingredients I was missing for my imp stout. Going to try and brew it this week so I can get it fermenting while we're gone.


It's a biggun' so we'all see if I can hit the numbers. Should be around 1.109 OG.

The sample taste great. Can't wait for it to carb up.

Almost carbed up. 9 days and it's tasting real nice. Great aroma. More on the spicy side. Curious to see how Wheebz scores this.

Yeah when it warmed up, the honey smell with the floral aroma of the yeast, its a winner.

It's time to try and step up to another level. In order to do that though, it's going to take some effort.


I'm going to start with this book and I ordered some others to read at swim meets and trips we have planned. I still really love brewing beer and want to get better at it so this is the path.

Coffee stout so good. Never would guess it's 6.9% either.
