Great looking rista, post some pics when hung ... man you just keep pulling and pulling ... awesome job!  The only pulling I've been
doing lately is from the banana bag!       Two freezing nights in a row, and another week's worth on the way!
Your wish is my command, Ramon!
This is looking out the kitchen door:

Those big chocolate ones in the last batch, look amazing Paul!!
Both plants are from Refining Fire, 2012 seed.  One has chestnut colored pods,
the other dark brown.  There are a handful of dark brown Choco Habs ripening
in the greenhouse right now.  They make great powder!

No Chocolates to show, but here are some Scotch Bonnet TFM (Trippa) cross
I pulled from the banana bag  (Another great pepper; excellent chopped up in
some scrambled eggs), along with a couple of Devil's Tongues. :

Closer view of an interesting pod in the center.  Looks like some Bonnet
phenotype being expressed:

Cold nights, comfort food!  Scotch Bonnet TFM and a Yellow Scotch
Bonnet chopped up for the chili.  Both pods wound up in the chili:

Great update Paul, love da shot of the backyard and greenhouse, pods look great as usual and I also enjoy eating TFM pods, especially with dat great looking meal you prepared  … Hab a great weekend mon!

Why is it when we're eating a simple hotdog dinner, I always see a meal to die for?

As usual Paul a beautiful yard, me I have 3 dogs, so no yard..LOL. I think they plot to break my ankle so I'll fall down and they can lick me to death..

Rista is very nice addition to the scenery and palate

Hey Ramon, are ya ready for the weekend?  Me either   :liar:
Let's face it, chili with fresh pods is a slam dunk

The TFM is a great pepper.  One of this year's favorites for me!
Thanks for visiting, bro -

Scott, I have a feeling your hotdog had some great spicy
relish on top of it!  That elevates it considerably!

We had a golden for 17 years, so we didn't have a nice
yard then.  Now there is no dog, the the yard has time to
recover. Plus having time to putter and do some landscaping
in my dotage!

The GW are perfect for the ristas!

... The TFM is a great pepper.  One of this year's favorites for me! ...
If you grow them again next season I hope you also grow the MoA, this way you can do a compare. While I've had plenty of both, never at the same time and I don't plan on growing the TFM next season as I've added too many plants already and will probably have to gift off some.

Have a great Saturday mon!

Hello, Ramon!

I definitely am going to grow out the TFM and the Yellow Scotch
Bonnet from Andy this coming season.  Denniz is also sending
me some of Jamison's MoA seed, so I will have three varieties to
compare.  The TFM cross is an awesome plant, vigorous and very
productive.

Sunny and cool for the weekend.  I'll take it.  Weird last night, forecast
for 20˚-24˚, but a 'heat wave' settled into our valley and kept the temps
up at 40˚-41˚ overnight.  Go figure!

You have a good weekend, my friend!

WalkGood said:
I have plenty a MoA seed that I can send some if you wish, pm me and they'll be in da mail mañana.
I'd love that, Ramon; nothing like genetic diversity!
If the MoA are anything like the TFM they should
be awesome peppers.   Some of the plants in the
MoA thread were great looking specimens!

Paul, love how your ristas came out... Killer bowl of chili topped with some extra heat... Makes it :onfire:
I like the look of ristas, too, just something so organic about them hanging there.
Be happy to send a couple of dried Goat's Weed pods your way, Portuge.

Thanks for the visit, fellas!

wow pauly...i love your garden and your greenhouse is aweesooommeeee...what a coincidence lol i had chili last night, very nice grow list you got there... :fireball:
Thanks, Jericson!  The garden is pretty much dialed down for the winter.
Would like to cover a few more containers, and there is a little nip and tuck
left here and there.  At least yard work slows down in winter here   ;)

I'll bet your chili was to die for, my friend!

I thought I ramp up the heat level for next season by trying to grow out
some seed from superhot pods that forum members sent last year.  I am
also getting some Jigsaw seeds from Dale at Baker's (thanks to a heads
up from Sawyer!) so will have several new varieties in the mix.

Looks like you'll have a great 2014, that's some list
Hi Penny, thanks for stopping in.

I will have to thin out the seed start list, I don't have
room to grow them all.  Will be a tough decision!

Cheers for a good week ahead!

Nice greenhouse. What's the size of it? Nice list for next year.
Hey, Jeff!  It's a 6 x 8.  Would like to have a bigger one.
The main problem is the low door; I have to stoop over
to go in.  Otherwise, it's been a great investment.  At $300
at Harbor Freight, it's the least expensive kit on the market.

I may have more heat than I want next year!  Some of them
won't make it, so there will be some more attrition there.  I
think I'll start some seed in Dec., especially the ones that
take a long time to ripen up.

Thanks for the visit, bro!

Paul nice perspective shot of your yard, You're Light..GreenHouse will keep the plants happy through the night.
I like that idea...Bonnets in the Chili. ..I'd have two bowls of that !
Nice growlist for 2014..
.Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
