Wow!

Some really nice color!

Keep doing what you're doing because it's working perfectly
Thanks, my friend.  I have to blame it on our just about flawless summer this year.
My only complaint: too many days over 100 in our back yard this season   ;)

Some of Tristen's (Trippa) F3 cross.  My neighbor's plant has thrown yellow pods:

Wide variety of phenotypes on the NGWH/Scorpion

Gotta go run an errand - back with some more shortly...

Don't forget, all you PNW folk and anyone else!

Love the seasonal colors Paul, got some pretty cool crosses going on over there...

Yeah, James, one of my favorite things about growing peppers!
It has been a year for crosses, that's for sure.  A good reason to
grow more than one specimen of each variety.

Here are some more harvest pics.  All of these plants have a ton more
pods ripening up on them.  What a season!

How about some nice Primos -seeds from Matt (MGold) pod in 2012, 2nd generation:
IMG_1287a_zpsqp6igji2.jpg

Scotch Bonnet TFM, 3rd generation, seed from Trippa.  The best phenotypes were the first
round of pods,  Subsequent pods on this bush have a shape like the ones on top left.  These
are all from one plant.  The other plant has just set a gob of pods, some of them great phenotypes,
maybe better than these, but they're still green, and growing fast:

Fatali x Savina, original strain from Brian (Justaguy):

Bhut Jolokioa, purple foliage phenotype.  3rd generation from a plant Robin (Spankycolts) gave me in 2012:

NagaBrain, 2nd generation - seed also from Gary:

That does it for now.  Will be harvesting some more as soon as the dehydrator has done its work.

There are some great phenotypes in those pods Paul!
So the neighbours cross has thrown brighter yellow pods Paul?? Is the foliage still purple on that plant?? Interesting stuff!!
Hopefully my plant of the cross continues with those virtues of purple foliage and the yellow/cream pods ...
I have 3 started in the one jiffy with one with much more vibrant purple then either of the other 2.. that will likely be my keeper.
Will have to Chuck some more photos onto my glog to show you the babies Paul !! Good growing to you sir!!

Yes, his plant has the purple foliage, as well.  My plan is to grow
3 or 4 of the F4 next year, all the purple/white strain.  Can't wait to see
how your F3 pods turn out...

Dang, that is one heap load of beautiful fire power. Almost seems criminal to eat them pods!
Thanks, brothah!

It's criminally insane to eat some of these pods, Lourens!   ;)

Beatiful collection of pods dude.
It looks like your having an amazing season.
Across the pond we've had a lousy summer.
Keep up the good work :)

I have to agree with the compliments above.

Simply gorgeous!
Thanks, Scott!

The weather gods have been good to us this year!

There are at least 50 Primos ripening on this plant

Sorry to hear, Paul.  Not much you can do about the weather.

It's always a roll of the dice.

Got a little more harvest a couple of days ago.

Wow amazing Paul the nagbrains look orange ?

Great growing !!!!!!
I probably let them go a little long, but that whole series of pictures is too dark.
They look more yellow in person.

These outside shots have a much better color balance

Large Orange Thai, Cili Goronong and a few Bird's Eye HTM both from Trippa's seed:
IMG_1294a_zpsij11oxkv.jpg

Two of my favorites, Manzano and some runty Aji Amarillo.  Both were cut up into the grilling basket...
IMG_1295a_zpsuiwrhr90.jpg

...along with some Cili Goronong and Costeño Amarillo, a little olive oil and a little salt.  Yum:

The Goronongs were hot   :fireball:

Looks like you're having a pretty good year, Paul.  All the pods and pics look great, but the pic of Brown Eggs, Costeño Amarillo, Cheiro Recife and Thai peppers is a classic.

Your peppers all looking great.  Those goronong look nice.  The ones I had last year weren't very hot and so twisted and gnarly shaped full of stitching was just not very appetizing.

Amazing plants... everyone's dream - plants layden with lots of massive pods! Awesome!

Thanks. Loudness.  Looks like your own grow will set some records this season!

Yes, John, we've been fortunate here this season!

I like that pic, too, for the colors!

Thanks, Justin.  the Goronongs seem to be getting more uniform
as the season goes on.  Still very gnarly, of course.

Awesome Paul! Those peppers are looking great! The Fatali x Savina sounds like a great cross. Whats the flavor like? Cheers pal.

Fatali flavor, but bumped a notch by the Savina.  Pretty hot, to me.
See ya next weekend, Aaron!
