Thermometer reads three degrees low, so soil
level temp in the domes is 80 degrees after a
few hours. Lights will be on 24/7 for now:

Are you using your lights as heat source too?
I got 2 Purple Thunder seedlings going [emoji16]. Had to insulate my heat pad to get temps up[emoji848] for the seeds to pop [emoji16].

What's the soak consist of?

I just let some tap water stand for a couple of
days to evap the chlorine, and then adjusted
the pH to 5.8-6.0. I usually use distilled water,
but I'm not sure it's necessary. The soil mix is
Black Gold all-purpose.

Yay! Glad to hear you have some PT going!
Which strain are you growing! I will throw a
heat mat under the trays if it looks necessary.
Right now the lights are keeping the dome
temps around 80˚F.

Honestly I planned to follow your footsteps and start on new year's. I've had my hands full with more important stuff and haven't gotten to it. Hopefully in the next few days I'll get some in dirt

Well it's all ongoing, but hopefully getting better.

Yes it is. The burn is "different" to me. Hard to put into works other than "sharp" or stabbing"

That's the only heat profile I can't stand. That prickly sore throat feeling isn't enjoyable at all.

That one is one of my favorite strains.
 
Nice 3 inch or better red-orange pods, plenty
of heat. Of all the Purple Thunder strains, it
was the most productive, with branches loaded
up with pods.
 
Hope it rocks the grow for ya!

Hey Paul,
Did/does any of your Purple Thunder plants have purple coloring on the leaves? Over the weekend,one of my seedlings started to get purple coloring along the edges of both coty leaves. [emoji16]
