The two phenotypes coming on the Aji Strawberry Drop...

These more reminiscent of the Aji Lemon Drop pods:

These look veery interesting. Maybe Bou can
chime in and tell what it might have crossed
with. Looking forward to trying these out:

Hey PG, nice plants; I really like that purple calyx on the Tasmanian Black too.

I don't have much info about this Aji strawberry drop; according to Sherwood's seeds it could be just a Lemon drop variation or cross but who knows... In 2020 my pods were about the same shape/size of the ones shown on your first pic. The other plant might be a cross with Aji Pineapple that was growing all over my ASD plant. Looking at the shape it makes sense but as my raised beds were so full of bees, bumblebees, ants and other whores it could also be a mix from something else!!

Yard's looking sharp Mr. G.  Would be awesome to see a drone aerial pic of it when it's in all its pepper glory!
Thanks, Doc. Plant-out is done, as well
as any needed transplanting. Now for a
heatwave. Plants look sort of ragged after
the cool wet days and hail and then hot
sun. Looks like the hot part of the cycle
will repeat itself this week/weekend, w/o
the hail, I hope

The hail damage has become more evident.
quite a few leaves like these, and lots with
less damage.

Totally man, your backyard is sick PaulG.  Looks like the perfect place to hangout on a summer evening, maybe a cold one in hand, surrounded by tons of cool plants.

I'll cross my fingers for you the hail stays back!

Nice plants, they grew very well for you Paul. And those pods, the look great.
You're about same latitude as me, but here we just got a few warmer nights now and just today I planted the greenhouse, because it was so wet I had to wait for it to dry

I hope the hail won't be a constant visitor at your garden.
Have you considered a protective net ?

Looking awesome Paul. You definitely have quite a grow there! I'm interested to see how the trippaul threat yellow and purple thunder come out. I've heard alot about them. Looks like yours are taking off! All the wilds are quite interesting also, be sure not to leave those pictures out.

You're singin' my song, K!

The yard is a work in progress, but I have to admit,
the progress proceeds in fits and starts these days!
We usually only get one or two Spring hail storms,
so I'm hoping the weather got it out of its system.

I hope your season rocks, my friend!

Glad to hear you have the greenhouse planted,
now you can relax a tiny bit. Maybe  ;)

Not sure a net would help  for our hail. The hailstones
barely reach 1/4" size, usually smaller, so you would
need a really fine mesh to stop them. The plants can
take one mild hit like we took this time, so I just depend
on their resilience.

Glad to see your own grow is getting underway for real,
Uros. Good luck with your peppers and veggies.  Looking
forward to some great foodies!

Thanks for the kind words, Tyler. The Purple Thunder
plants are beasts, all right. Every one over 2' tall at
plant-out. If the pods follow suit, there should be some
spectacular fruit. I am hoping the TT v2F3 yellow stays
true. Still could be variation at F3. I'm also hoping the
other growers growing out the various colors have great
success. I'll save you seeds, buddy!

Sorry  I haven't posted many pics lately, just been too
busy sorting, schlepping, planting and tweaking drip
system to get out there and grab a few images. I will
do better, promise!

Your grow is off to a great start, Tyler. Good luck going
forward for a banner season.
