Right you are, @ahayastani, it will come up sometime.
Patience easier when there is one sprout already.

Not too long until transplant time for these crosses,
Trippaul Threat Or. and Violet, Purple Thunder BJh-3, Mystery.

Maybe it’s just ‘cause I’m growing it this year too, but the Dwarf Chiltepin is already wuite handsome of habit… chacoense also looking very nice.

The Dwarf Chiltepin already has two lateral
branches that will be major scaffolds when
the plant gets 'big'. The c. chacoense is one
of my favorite wild varieties, the purple flower
variant especially (thanks @Wiriwiri!)

Good luck with yours, @thoroughburro!

Holy crap you’re far ahead Paul! I’m still at the stage of deciding peppers for this summer 😅
C. galapagoense with emerging flower.

Brilliant photography my friend! Truly a special pepper. I noticed my galapagoense sometimes had a weird smell after touching it, I always wondered if others noticed it as well?
Yes the Galap does have an odor...hard to describe...but not perfumey as one Fatalli said in his thingy...I have quite
a few galap plants non in flower ...resting them...I'd say it is distinct though & it does hit you when you go near it
or pull a leaf off and squish it.,,more like an herb odor.IMO :)

Yes...the Purple F Chacoense is nice but for me it's only the flower that does it 'cause it's different from the other
chacoenses...which to me are all boring, sorry Paul  but being an AQUARIAN the AMETHYST color scheme
or similar does it for me...like this: best color ever :)

:eek:Holy Smokes! This recipe looks like dynamite. How could plants NOT grow in this rocket fuel?

I like to get them off to a good start, @JJJessee 😉

Once they go outside in May-June, they are pretty
much on their own. I do very little fertilizing during
the summer. Maybe some Mor-Bloom and Silica Blast
when the podding season gets here. Otherwise, just
on individual plants as the need arises.

Yay. One of the c. flexuosum seeds from @Pr0digal_son has
hooked in the AeroGarden 12 days in.

Why two pics? I didn't notice that 2/3 of my AeroGarden lamps
were burned out until I noticed the dark shading in the first pic
Second pic with lamps replaced.
