Sporadic update.

Three OW wilds have been pulled.
CAP 524 c. chacoense
Tepin 'pshngo'
c. lanceolatum

Most of these doing okay, still a couple of questionable ones.

They're looking great, PaulG! Sorry to see the lanceolatum go after the hard work to get it going.
Me, too, CD. Just comes with the Territory, I guess.
I’ll try one again, sometime!

A fellow garage gardener I see. Let me shake your hand sir.

The plants look really good to my eye, especially for ones that have been kept inside over winter.
Thanks, Rat! Apppreciate your dropping in for a look!

Thanks, Marc. I hope most make it through the winter!

Yes, it is, Jason. Pretty cool flowers, in my opinion.

Some look pretty good, given the fact they have been
pretty much ignored all winter. Had Covid the first couple
weeks of Dec, then a stroke. Fortunately neither one laid
me up too bad. Just getting my right hand back in shape.

There are a few aphids lurking. I have a bottle of
insectidal soap spray at the ready! Fortunately,
I put the stand together a bit before the Covid
pandemic hit. Thanks for the kind words, Augustine!
Sorry to hear about you getting covid & a stroke but glad your making a come back
There a wild I keep seeing form Siberia I was wondering if you knew anything about it ?
I may down a few Texas tepin doesn't matter when as I well keep it inside over the winter

Hope C19 is now behind and you have recovered well. Your OW plants look very healthy; how do you manage to keep pests at bay? Every time I try, I end up with an aphid infestation...

Tha buddy! Health wise, all is well, so am
thanking my lucky stars for that! I am not
famIliar with the Siberian pepper of which
you speak. Good luck with the Texas Tepins.

There are always a few aphids lurking about.
I just keep a spray bottle of insecticidal soap
close at hand! Thanks for looking in.

I must have overlooked that you got sick... hope you're doing better now!
Stroke is no good, glad that it healed. Had one myself a good while back, made me see everything double. Took months to heal, drove me crazy!
Thanks, Marc. All's well that ends well. Quick intervention
by hospital staff saved the day, and just a bit wonky right
hand, almost totally back to normal now after ten weeks.

You or people around you were alert enough and recognized something was going awry, and acted well. That alone is reason to be positive. Seeing you here working with peppers is very promising. Keep it going 👍

Hey Paul, now is the time to tell your doctors they should convince your family that gardening ("more plants") will be beneficial for your recovery.

Hello, Paul.

Sorry to hear about brief lapse in health. Hope your doing well.

Nice varieties. Can’t wait to see your garden.

Question? I have always used the paper towel method for germination. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. I was think of starting in plugs or soil. What temp do you keep your starts in? I have heating mats and the supers always need the warmer temps to sprout. Do you use heating mat or just room temps? Thanks friend.

Very best regards

Chuck
