Dwarf Chiltepin 'Hermosillo', Semillas la Palma 2022

Time to quit dragging my feet and get this season underway.
Last season was OW plants only with two exceptions. This
year I am growing all new plants from seed gathered from
my 2022 harvest and limited to Tepin and Chiltepin varieties.
If the spirit moves me I might try for some OW chinenses
varieties later on.

Good luck with the Grow @PaulG .
We R right behind you, getting the Plant room ready as we speak.

This beautiful pic of the chiltepin has just gotten me to add back the chiltepins in my 24 grow.
I have so many dried & frozen. But wait! I don't grow peppers just for eating. Each & everyone
has a different look ,& that's why I grow peppers for the adventure & beauty they bring 2 my life.

Good luck with the 2024 season! I wonder how all these (chil)tepin varieties compare!
Thanks, Marc! To my taste, they are all pretty similar.

Thanks, GYO. I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch!
If they come up with the eggshell still on don’t be tempted to cut them off, just apply a water droplet on the shell and keep it there. The chickens will work their own way out eventually. Sometimes it’s because you didn’t plant the eggs deep enough.

Hope you have a great 2024 chicken & pepper season.
