@PinoyPride83 Great shots of your process and tests. Is Ewa beach soil sandy? Is that why you're starting most of your seeds inside? Here on Maui I'm starting them outside in seedling trays and trying to keep it lowest maintenence as possible. I found my Trinidads germinate way faster than the Bhut Jolokia.

Looking forward to seeing more photos. I just post these on instagram lastnight and this morning:

Aloha / Mabuhay

its quite hard clay over here at ewa beach, what do you grow down there?do you make your adoboloco hotsauce?i just like to germinate inside the house for my first time growing and my incoming batch im gonna try them to germinate outside in my ghetto styrofoam kit

I'm currently growing Bhut Jolokia, Trinidad Moruga Scorpions and Thai. Always have some Hawaiian Chili growing but not for sauces, more for cooking. Yes we make our sauce here in Wailuku. Some day I'll be making it on Oahu when we need to scale production. I never spent any time in Ewa so I didn't know. Spent most of my time in Aiea, Pearlcity, Makaha and Town. No clay here on the South Side of Maui. We raise a lot of chickens so we us them for composting and soil amendment in the gardens.

Do u guys have website to order some sauces?if so do u deliver in other island like oahu?i think we have red clay here,

nvm found your website, and i love your adobo recipes gonna try that smoke chicken adobo

We should have it at a store on Oahu in a couple of weeks. We've sent a lot of it over there for orders.

Yes try the smoked chicken and the braised pork belly ( now one of my favorites ) so good! Make that and your friends will never leave you alone asking for it again. :P

I'm guessing you could use an electric smoker. You can also use a simple Hibachi setup too like I do ( low budget ) You can see them at the bottom here how I did it.

Yes I've had it with Pineapple too... very good if using fresh pineapple instead of canned. I also do an Adobo with coconut milk. Going to be making squid adobo with coconut soon. Super good with some Habanero or Bangkok sauce on it.

ALOHA FRIDAY!
