Wow Eric I was wondering where you have been. Congrats on the perfect grade and it shows in your super tasty looking food. Just has me salivating .

Now get you butt out there and start showing us some pics of your garden ;)

Excellent work, Jericson! Your final project is just too good; You are
very creative, my friend.
Hope the white flies aren't overwhelming your plants. We get them here,
too, and they can kill a growth tip pretty fast. They are preetty hard on
some rhododendron species. For some reason, we didn't have many
this year, or aphids, for that matter. It's been kind of a weird insect-free
summer here. Very unusual. Fortunately, the bee pouplation seems to
be rebounding; have seen more bees this summer than the past four or five.

Enjoy your break from school, buddy. Only working two jobs will seem like
a vacation!

thanks pauly...yea vacation means keep working for me lol...i will get all the free time i can get to make some cash for the time being
and those freaking white flies are everywere in our house, they even invaved my aerogarden inside the house now all the plants in it is dead,
all my plants havent feed since end of july have to feed them again they growing slow now.

Get after those whiteflies! Ugh!
Feed your plants!

Bummer about the aerogarden. That would be like heaven for the whiteflies.

Have a good week. my friend!

Ouch! Sounds like you need to fumigate the inside growing area to clean it up before planting there again. How are your outside plants for pests? I used Espoma "Garden Tone" organic fertilizer in my garden with good results this year. For the chiles, I supplemented it with a tablespoon of Epsom salts per plant. They're heavy magnesium feeders when they're blossoming and setting fruit. Since your plants are already established, you could put it down as a side dressing around the drip line of the leaf canopy on each plant. The rain will wash it down to the roots.

siggghh 80% of my plants dead since i started working at my new workplace..been working 14hrs a day 6days a week, and finally they approved my 2weeks off even though i just finish my probation...

this is my work place here in hawaii, i started as a prep-cook then in one month they bump me to line-cook because they said that i work good, now before i went on leave my kitchen manager talk to me that he will train me as a supervisor after my school for advance pastry...so happy to hear that from him even our executive chef approved it...so enjoy for now for my pictures at my work place.

Dude... no wonder you haven't been able to check in on your chiles... the grindstone was in the way ;) Seriously though, it looks like you're having fun working at a high-class restaurant. It is a lot of work, but if it's what you want, you go for it!

Good to hear from you... You have a good holiday season, and a warm one eh?

Those are some beautiful pics Eric. The food and view is just crazy. But 8 am til 12 midnight. That is too much. I need to talk your boss about that ;)

Lots of comments.....I find myself starving despite being full of food.Great presentations, don't know that I'd put up with workin in such such poor condition though(nice score!),lol.
Mushrooms are hard to to present appetizingly, but but you did a hell of a job....and I am a serious asshole when it comes to food.By that I mean not the "guy that sends everything back", but if you over cook my seafood, I am never coming back.Looks like you take it seriously,+10....plus , you get bonus points for holding down a nursing home job as well.Glad I said screw procedures review after a late dinner, and dropped by here to catch up instead.Keep up the fantastic work-I know its not all pretty pictures -there's a whole lot behind those presentations that many never consider.
Have a good one-
Dave

Great food presentations !
You sure didn't miss your calling.....having a passion and desire in the culinary world
will present no limits for you and your ideas.
Best of the best with the local produce, land and sea options.
Good luck with kitchen skills....
Me want to take a vacation there...

Greg
