I put the skillet in the oven at 425 until it was heated through. Removed and added dough and assembled the pizza in order (mozzarella cheese, ingredients, more mozzarella cheese, sauce, parmesan). Yep. I do 525 when I use the stone and 425 when I use the skillet. I make sure that either the stone or the skillet are thoroughly heated before baking the pizza.tctenten said:I do. 500f when I bake on pizza stone. I think 400f or 425f when I use cast iron.
