sun Plant with bad sunburn

This was my biggest healthiest red scotch bonnet seedling.
This is what it looks like after an afternoon in the Caribbean sun.

I hope it survives my little mishap.

Thats a sad sight mate! Personally I would remove the most damaged looking leaves, no use letting the plant put energy into them.

here in texas heat I like to put my plants in a spot that gets partial sun all day instead of direct sun. they seem to do better. but A J has full sun so you might put it in the sun just a few hrs in the morning till it hardens up!!

agree with pappy.looks like you did not harden it to begin with just do a few hr at a time in the sun rest in shady area.

I currently have my plants up next to a fence so they get some partial beams of light through the pickets.
I'm not sure if the plant that received the damage is gonna make it though, it has dropped all its leaves and I havent seen any new ones form.
